POLE PLANT UPGRADE

Refurbishment and upgrade of the existing concrete pole manufacturing plant will enhance the reliability of the distribution network which is critical for increased access to power at the household level. Demand for concrete poles is estimated at 40 000 units per annum while current production capacity from ZENT and other local manufacturers is slightly above 8000 units per annum.
